Remove Item not part of Event

James Cook-12
Dear outlaw gunslinger,

Thanks for the elaborate answer.

I guess I could file a feature request for a new subclass to ListDataEvent
that holds the objects deleted. When glazed fires the event, they could
substitute this subclass instead of the javax.swing.event.ListDataEvent. I
think there is a precedent for this with MutableListDataEvent.

This would be a big improvement over maintaining two separate lists.

Hey James --

I agree that it's a feature to consider including. For now, I've added a defect:
https://glazedlists.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=253

I doubt we'll get that fixed anytime soon so I recommend using our
prescribed workaround. The problem will require a significant amount
of architecture changes to the event publishing model, which is
currently optimized for speed rather than completeness.

Take care,
Jesse
