Yeah, it's time for a migration...
As we moved the code to Github already, the Github issue tracker would be the target, I guess?

Has anyone some experience with migrating JIRA issues to Github issues?

In JIRA you can export the issues to Excel or XML for example.
Excel format seems to miss the issue comments though, so XML format looks more appropriate...
Something like this
https://gist.github.com/Jach/1537770
or one if its forks could be a starting point for a migration script...

Any other hints or suggestions?
Any volunteers to tackle this?

Thanks,
Holger

Yeah, I think the Github tracker makes sense.

I wouldn't mind working on the transfer. Are we interested in pruning any cruft?

I could also do the transfer, but I can't give an estimate when I'd get to it.
I'm currently quite busy with private matters, so it could take a few weeks.

So, please let go if you like and have some time.
I would suggest to simply take over all JIRA issues.

Thanks,
Holger
